Waiting to Feel Like God
I have decided on getting 2-wheels for my commute to the office.
Now, first things first, I am as familiar to bikes as an Eskimo is to a camel.
All through my ‘significant’ life, it’s been cars. When I was a kid though, I remember sitting on all kinds of scooters in the family.
But, as soon as I grew up, there weren’t any left and all I could sit in was a car.
Safe rehti hai, was all my uncles used to say when asked about the old ‘green’ scooter, why was it sold.
Kaise chalate hain log, 2-wheeler toh bada riski rehta hai, I would hear the grown-ups talk from the back seat.
Naturally enough, I started getting familiar with the new love of the family, Car. Bikes were somehow pushed to the background.
Untill now. I am getting one and the family has gone mad.
kaunsi
78? Assi(80) hi ho gaye, arey 1,10 mein toh Nano aa jayegi
200cc? araam se chalana, racing vacing nai karna
As I never paid much attention to bikes, there weren’t really any favourites. Actually, there was one.
Why does my heart feel so bad!!
This is probably the lowest phase of my life.
Nothing seems to interest me. Not even the stock of movies I maintain so or rather used to maintain, so religiously.
I don’t feel like sleeping.
I don’t feel like sitting.
I don’t feel like switching on the TV.
I don’t feel like even picking up the laptop.
I don’t feel like listening to music.

Back in Bangalore!!
Well, a lot has happened since the last time I updated my blog.
After completing my training, I got posted to Hyderabad. Don’t even ask about the department. I joined on 5th and had no work for the initial 8-10 days. It takes a giant like ****** about that much time, sometimes even more, to actually figure out why you were hired in the first place and where to put you. Those days passed quite well.
Swipe-in, have breakfast, return to the guest house, lunch, swipe-out, go on house hunting(that’s subject of another post coming up soon), dinner(biryani), retire to bed. This was the average day like.
One fine day, I got the bad news. I had been allocated to a project and that meant only one thing – Work!!
After talking to my manager, I felt better. He was calling me to Bangalore for my knowledge transfer sessions. For atleast 3 weeks. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. I anyways wanted to be posted in Bangalore. I was happy.
Fast forward to 5th May.
I have been staying here, in the ECC for almost an entire month since mid-april. The scenario is much different here. We don’t have people here, we have Zombies!!! No emotions, frustrated, no smiles, nothing. Just simple mechanical things coming in like mad at morning and going out like mad as sun sets. Who cares. I, anyways don’t want to stick to this company for long.
I’ll leave Bangalore soon and be back in Hyderabad. Can’t wait to hog on the biryani again!!
Cya!!
