Can’t live without . . . .

What is it that I can’t live without.

Been thinking about it since a long time. Since this morning, The other option really was to look at the plain ceiling. So, obvious choice.
Anyways, The one thing that kept coming at the top of my list was, my phone. Expected and perfectly normal. Now the reasons.

1. No Facebook/Orkut/WordPress/flicker/g-talk/yahoo… blah.. blah…never mind with all the names, the list is endless actually.
2. No alarm to wake me up!
3. Would need to ask for the time to strangers! (Wrist watch, what is that? )
4. No reminders, will end up forgetting something or the other.
5. No music!!
6. No pictures/videos!
7. No calci, will need to do the math in my head, rather on fingers!
8. No flashlight! (Yup, and its a pretty bright one at that!)

and then there are some others like,

9. No messages
10. No calls

It is kinda funny, you call it a phone and don’t miss the ‘calls’ if its not with you. You miss a billion other things. I think it should not be called a phone anymore, coz quite frankly now its so much more!! With new features being added by the minute, I wonder if one day we would be able to wash and dry our clothes too!

Mr.Bell would freak out if somehow he could see what the humble phone has become from his time. Actually no, Bell’s version is still the same, wired, lifeless, boring. It is Mr Cooper who would actually be looking in disbelief!! From his first call in 1973 to present, his ‘mobile’ phone has changed lanes and come a long way.

To conclude, I think most of gadget-freaks would agree with me but there sure is a janta for whom, still, phone = call. They will always stare at you blankly if you were to tell them, I can’t live without my PHONE!!! (?? Can’t you just use the PCO ??)
